The college has at present Girls and Boys hostel with a capacity of sixty three boarders each. Hostel facility will be provided to all the bonafide APST students as per the prescribed terms & contestations enshrined in Section VII in the prospectus.
01. Students seeking admission into hostel will have to apply on the prescribed form which can be had from office within stipulated time to be notified separately. The applicant has to submit one attested copy each of marksheet of previous examination passed and ST certificate along with two recent passport size photograph.
02. Of all the seat available in the hostel (boys & girls), 70% seat will be given to the students of 3rd& 5th semester.
03. Hostel admission and seat allotment will be done strictly on the basis of merit. However, preference will be given to the applicant of catchment area based on merit.
04. Students once admitted to the hostel must occupy their seat within 10 days from the date of admission failing which their seat will be allotted to other needy students from the waiting list.
05. Under no circumstances proxy admission or replacement of seat will entertained.
06. It is mandatory for all boarders to join hostel mess. Mess fee may be paid in two installments at the time of admission and at the time of filling up of university examination form.
07. If a student after admission leaves the hostel without consent/permission of the college authority, he/she will forfeit all the claims including fees already paid. Such seat will be allotted to needy student.
08. In order to assist the hostel Warden in smooth running of the hostel,Prefect and Assistant Prefect will be selected from amongst the boarders by the hostel Warden.
09. For proper and judicious running of the mess, a mess committee and audit committee will be constituted from time to time.
10. The boarder should not allow any outsider to stay in the hostel without proper written permission in advance from the hostel warden.
11. Entry of male member into the girl’s Hostel in odd hours is restricted and vice-versa.
12. Boarder shall seek written permission from hostel warden whenever he/she leave hostel for short duration. However, the boarder should not leave the hostel for more than 10 days consecutively. In such event his/her admission stands cancelled and the seat will be allotted to some needy student.
13. Rooms must be vacated during Winter Recess and Summer Vacation by handing over all the articles to the concerned hostel warden. Any loss and damage of hostel articles will be realised from the student concerned.
14. Boarders are to keep their rooms and surroundings neat and clean by engaging themselves in morning works/social service.
15. Boarder must exhibit peace, tranquility, communal harmony, universal brotherhood and corporate life in the hostel. They are to adhere to strict discipline and abide by the rules that govern them. Any breach of discipline/rule will attract severe punishment including expulsion from the hostel.
16. Use of any intoxicated substance such as drug, alcohol, tobacco, cigarette, gutka, tiranga, etc. inside the hostel premise is strictly prohibited.
17. Boarder should refrain from making noise by shouting/talking loudly, by playing game or by gossiping during the study hours. In other words, they are expected to maintain the hostel time table to be notified from time to time by the hostel warden.
