National Service Scheme (NSS)

The National Service Scheme is a voluntary organization of College students under the Union Ministry of Human Resource Development to inculcate Social consciousness and a sense of responsibility, discipline and dignity of labour among the youth. The College unit of the NSS is vibrant with activities and takes up numbers of social awareness programs and special camps under the guidance of Program Officer. Motto: “Not me, but You.”, which reflects the essence of democratic living and upholds the need for self-less Service. NSS helps the students develop appreciation to other person’s point of view and also show consideration to other living beings. The philosophy of the NSSS is well doctrine in this motto, which underlines on the belief that the welfare of and individual is ultimately dependent on the welfare of the society on the whole and therefore the NSS volunteers shall strive for the well-being of the society
